Magnesium Walnut
Whether it is about magnesium walnut or die cast magnesium scrap or magnesium skim blocks; we will recycle and process it all. For more than twenty years we have been the processor and the recycling company for magnesium. We buy all grades of magnesium for recycling and this is done out of anything but luxury. If the indications do not deceive us, scarcity of magnesium is highly likely to occur. Moreover, recycling is always better for the environment and it can also minimize the growing size of scrap heaps.
Magnesium recycling is truly a specialized field
The recycling process of magnesium walnut and other grades of magnesium is not simple. In fact, they contain several impurities such as non-metallic and oxide particles. In the recycling process of magnesium walnut, contamination should be prevented. We do this by protecting the melt with emulsifying salts. Magnesium is used in electrical equipment, and we use this equipment in particular for increasingly shorter periods. The world population uses four percent more electrical appliances annually, and more magnesium needs to be used for every time. This is definitely not a good development as the environment suffers from this. Fortunately, in us you will find an experienced company that is skilled in magnesium recycling and processing.
Europe imports 47 percent of the total global production
Magnesium cannot be found in nature because it reacts with oxygen. Major supplies are therefore found underground. Magnesium is mostly extracted from brine in underground salt layers. From this, salt is isolated which is then converted into magnesium by electrolysis. We Europeans import almost 47 percent of the world’s production of magnesium, which is most commonly produced in China (up to 93 percent). However, this country is subject to trade restrictions. There is also the fact that, apart from us, there are not many recycling companies practiced in magnesium recycling and processing and you are already well aware of existing concerns about magnesium.
We know everything about magnesium and how to recycle it
As already mentioned, during the process of recycling, non-metallic or oxide particles can cause contamination and this is precisely why magnesium recycling is a more difficult process, but not for us. With extensive experience in the world of magnesium there is not much more we can learn, whether it’s about shredded magnesium or magnesium walnut.
Increasing device turnover
Given the fact that we keep wanting newer electrical devices, increasingly more magnesium is needed every year. By recycling more, this need is less; the less we need to use natural resources and the smaller the scrap heaps can remain in our country and the rest of the world. Incidentally, one third of all magnesium ends up as scrap.
Pure magnesium
By recycling and processing magnesium walnut, it can be used again in iron and steel compounds and in ferrous alloys, as also seen in compounds of chromium, nickel and manganese as well as in raw pig iron and in rough steel. Pure magnesium without contamination; just leave it to us.
