Magnesium Dross Blocks
We buy and process Magnesium dross blocks. This is the right thing to do because magnesium is something to value and to be used sparingly. This substance is already on the critical list of EU materials while demand for it still continues to grow.
Reserves must not dwindle too quickly
We are aware of this and make sure that magnesium supplies do not decline too rapidly; recycling in general is simply good for the environment. Apart from magnesium dross blocks we buy all available magnesium waste for recycling and processing. We do this on a global scale and we love doing this, especially for the environment.
How quickly are electrical appliances made redundant
Why is there growing demand? This is because we use our electrical equipment for much shorter times. We keep wanting the latest of the best and simply keep rejecting our electrical appliances. However, new devices need more new magnesium again and thus supplies are used very quickly. Fortunately, we are here to buy these magnesium containing devices in whatever shape or form.
Lighter cars are also more economical cars
Demand for magnesium will continue to grow now that more and more car manufacturers are becoming convinced of the added value of magnesium. With magnesium, you can build much lighter cars than is now possible with carbon and aluminium. Light cars are what the manufacturer wants, because they are also more fuel efficient. Due to a lack of familiarity, magnesium was ignored for a long time. However, it is now being met by opening doors and now is now awaiting a real breakthrough. Anyway, we also buy magnesium waste from the automotive industry, as we already do with magnesium dross blocks.
Magnesium reacts with oxygen
Magnesium is not simply found naturally for the simple reason that it reacts with oxygen. It is removed from the ground and has several robust properties and many applications. One third of all magnesium ends up as waste, and this is when we come into play. Like no one else, we are capable of recycling magnesium, for which there is no soft option. Magnesium can contain quite a lot of impurities in the form of oxides and non-metallic parts. With the help of emulsifying salts, we remove these impurities so that what remains of the magnesium dross blocks is pure magnesium.
In compounds of steel, iron and chrome
This can be processed in iron and steel for example and it can be found again in alloys of these materials, as well as in chromium and nickel compounds. In any case, there is no need to use fresh magnesium which is a good thing, as recycling is a good thing for the environment anyway. Thus, we can keep the scrap heap somewhat stable and do not need to use our natural resources. We think that this should be taken into account more categorically. And so, we will continue to buy and process magnesium dross blocks and any other form of magnesium waste. Ultimately, this is to everyone’s advantage.
