Magnesium AZ91 Alloy scrap

It does not matter to us what the nature of magnesium waste is for the simple reason that we will buy any magnesium waste. This definitely also includes Magnesium AZ91 Alloy scrap. We recycle and process magnesium which is a good thing, even if we say so ourselves; certainly also for the environment for which we continue to improve things.

We stand out in the world of recycling

Whether it is about shredded magnesium or magnesium that is in cast scrap, where there is magnesium, we will be there and have been so for over twenty years. The process of recycling magnesium is considered to be complicated and this makes us stand out as a company along with our professional approach.

Impurities in the form of non-metallic and oxide particles

Magnesium AZ91 Alloy scrap and other magnesium waste processing is complex because it may involve some impurities in the form of oxide and non-metallic particles. This requires a method of processing with emulsifying salts to eliminate these impurities. What remains after this is a pure form of magnesium which is applicable on many fronts. Recycling is good for everyone anyway. It means less need to tap into natural reserves and also curtailing the size of the scrap heap. These are logical developments at a time when we are increasingly thinking about and caring for the environment.

Less time using electrical devices

Nowadays, people increasingly spend less time using electrical equipment because they always want the latest and the best. These increasingly better products always contain magnesium, and fresh magnesium at that. At the same time, the situation for magnesium is not very robust considering that it is already on the critical list of raw materials. The EU buys almost half of the globally produced magnesium that is largely sourced from China. This is a country not uncommonly subjected to trade restrictions.

Use in the car industry is growing

In the future car industry, magnesium will also be used more commonly. This is how you make lighter and more economical cars. Currently, aluminium and carbon are usually used for this purpose. Because there is still some lack of knowledge about magnesium and because it is still difficult to modify, it has not made a real breakthrough yet. But this will happen. This is not a problem for us, because we like buying magnesium that comes from cars as we do with magnesium AZ91 Alloy scrap, so we can process it, and we do this globally.

Magnesium AZ91 Alloy scrap

We process magnesium AZ91 Alloy Scrap and other magnesium and it can be found again in compounds of iron and steel, chromium, nickel, manganese, raw pig metal and crude steel. This is without mentioning many other applications to keep things simple. We continue to profile ourselves as the global buyer of magnesium and we continue to do the right thing for the environment – and therefore also for you. This is because we are good at what we do!
