Magnesium AS31 Alloy scrap

Like all other magnesium wastes, we also buy magnesium AS31 alloy scrap for recycling and processing. We have been doing this for more than twenty years and so, you can safely call us a specialist in this field. The process of recycling magnesium it is far from simple. However, we manage this expertly.

We remove impurities with emulsifying salts

What makes the process quite difficult is the presence of impurities that are still involved in the form of non-metallic and oxide particles. We use emulsifying salts to also deal with this issue effectively. So, for us this is anything but difficult or complex; we process all grades of magnesium waste including magnesium AS31 Alloy scrap in the best way possible and without any trepidation.

This is how resource reserves stay at good levels and the scrap heap does not grow higher

The situation for magnesium is not exactly in crescendo. Insiders say that reserves in the ground are being depleted and it is already on the EU list of critical materials. This is in the knowledge that the EU buys about half of the total production of magnesium annually, especially from China. Recycling is always a good thing. This means that we do not always need to rely on natural resources and that the scrap heap can stay as it is and does not grow bigger at least.

Electrical devices are increasingly being rejected sooner

Magnesium is also increasingly used in the manufacture of electrical appliances for example. These are actually becoming obsolete faster whenever a new product arrives on the market. Their lifespan thus keeps becoming ever shorter. We do deal with magnesium AS31 alloy scrap that becomes available because of this reason which is not a good development of course. After all, fresh magnesium always needs to be used in new equipment.

Magnesium makes cars much lighter

Demand for magnesium is also set to increase in the automotive industry. It has been found that magnesium is lighter than carbon and aluminium which are currently being used. The lighter the car, the more fuel-efficient it will be. Due to the fact that not everything is known about magnesium yet, and the difficult way of changing it, a real breakthrough is currently still waiting. However, this is just a matter of time.

It is found in applications of steel, iron, chrome and nickel

In addition to recycling and processing magnesium AS31 alloy scrap, we also buy all other magnesium that is available. You can find it being used again in applications of steel, iron, chromium and nickel, specifically in their compounds. Because of our work, magnesium supplies are declining less rapidly, and scrap heaps are also growing less quickly. Fortunately, we are already increasingly concerned about the environment and we certainly welcome this fact. We don’t continue our work for nothing and we will continue to be the purchaser and processor of magnesium AS31 alloy scrap and other magnesium waste. We are also doing this for you because the environment is also essential to you.
